For those of you that are still following, I am very sorry for the delay in postings. To catch you up, things have been very hectic around the Kolbe household this summer. In April, we started on the next venture in life and broke ground on our new house. All the decisions have pretty much consumed us this summer, along with football, volleyball, family, wedding and fishing time.
Our little Kade-man was the most handsome-est ring bearer in the world. Congratulations to our new Aunt Candice and Uncle Kyle. It was a wonderful celebration filled with fabulous food, awesome music, and the best of all was the crazy train!! Kade actually walked down the aisle with assistance, which was a miracle because he had only started walking about 3 weeks earlier.
He has kept us very busy this summer. He is a quite active little man, who loves to take walks to the 'house' and play outside.
All in all, we have had a very productive summer, but it has seemed to fly by way to fast. Can someone please turn back the time a few notches so we can enjoy the rest of the year. Hope all is well with all of you. Take care and we hope to see you soon. :)

Almost 7 months
I haven't been doing a very good job with posting lately, but I thought I would get you all up to date with our little one. He is doing awesome. He has tried all veggies, and we are almost done with fruits. He loves his cereal. Yesterday, we took him to Kmart to get some photos. I have come to the decision that he does not like to have his pictures taken. They go some cute ones though. Kade had his first college tailgate experience this fall...we have been to Northwood and now CMU. He definitely likes to people watch with his mom!!! He made the transition to formula very well, especially when I had to get my wisdom teeth out in a hurry. All in all the fall has been very busy, and we look forward to spending special time with our little bug this winter!!!

5 months
Wow, how time has flown by!!! I cannot believe that my little man is five months old today!!! It seems like only yesterday was the day we welcomed him into the world. We have truely enjoyed every minute of this summer spending time with him!! He is growing so fast. Last week, he weighed in at 14lbs. 13oz. That is pretty crazy!! He is rolling over, and talking up a storm. We started cereal today, and he absolutely loved it. See film to enjoy!! As the fall nears, we are preparing for a busy time. Kade has spent some time with me at volleyball and loves all the action. We also went to a football scrimmage and he loved that just as much. All in all we are pretty luck parents...I remind myself of that everyday!! ;) :)

4 Months Old!!!
Today, we went to the doctors for Kade's 4 month check up....he is 13 pounds 14 ounces, and 24 and a quarter inch long. He only got two pokes and he did really well with them. Things are going great. We went camping last weekend, and Kade had a ball....he got to spend some time with Grandma and Grandpa Kolbe, and Great Grandma Ginop & Grandma Cindy stopped by a few times. Kade was quite the charmer. He is doing great, and I am loving the time that I get to spend with him this summer. I cannot believe how fast it is going by!!! With Love,

Time Flies!!!
I know....Iknow. It has been far too long since I have updated, but things around the Kolbe household got real busy when I had to go back to work and it seems that things have not slowed down since. Our little bundle of joy has grown so much. We are headed to get his first professional pictures taken this week. He has developed quite the personality. Kris went to Canada for 10 days with his dad, and came back seeing a whole new Kade. Tomorrow, we are heading up north to see Grandma and Grandpa Bowen for a little while, although Thursday we will be coming back to Clare for pictures and to watch the fireworks on Friday. Then we will head back north for the weekend. Kade has sucessfully been sleeping 7-9 hours during the night, which helps me get my beauty rest (which I definetly need). He has been eating good and gain/ growing fast. I cannot wait until we go to the doctors next to actually see the numbers. It is crazy how much time has gone by...Kris and I were just talking about how fast these 15 weeks have went by.

Two Months
Just a quick update for all of you!! Kade is now two months old, and getting so big. We had a doctor's appointment yesterday and he is officially 10 pounds 13 ounces and 22 inches long. He had to get poked a couple of times which made last night a little difficult, but he slept from 10-5:30 not a problem. I am so fortunate that he sleeps all night long. I only have 8 more days of school and then I get the rest of the summer to spend with my bug!! I cannot wait. Hope all is well with all of you!!!!

Loving the last week!
It is officially my last week home with Kade. I cannot believe that it has been 7 going on 8 weeks. I am trying to take it all in. I think we have got a night time routine down. Kris gives the baths, then I feed and rock him to sleep while daddy reads him a couple of stories. Kade usually sleeps between 5-6 hours then I get up and feed and he goes right back to bed. I have a feeling that next week is going to be a little difficult for me, but I just keep telling myself it is only three weeks and then school is out. I have been a little spoiled these last couple of weeks with the weather being so nice, it is nice to get outside and go on walks. Today, we are going to head up to the home track meet and route for our teams. It looks like it is going to be a beautiful day. We hope all is well with everyone!! We love you!
